Travelogix’s Farecast 2.0 Manages, Forecasts and Influences Airline Incentive Outcomes for Consortia and TMCs
Travelogix has launched Farecast 2.0, its re-engineered airline incentive management platform, consolidating data for multi-agency groups and consortia into a single view for commercial teams and agency managers. The platform provides real-time visibility into airline performance and incentive programmes, giving users a clearer, more immediate view of their commercial position.
Rather than waiting for retrospective airline reporting to confirm whether an incentive has been achieved, Farecast 2.0 combines booking and ticket data with real-time deal tracking, booking pace and velocity monitoring, forecasting and scenario modelling and real-time status alerts. This gives commercial teams the insights they need to understand current performance, anticipate and model projected outcomes, act and communicate with contributors whilst there is still time to influence the result.
Chris Lewis, Founder and CEO of Travelogix, said:
“The primary reason we created Farecast was that we didn’t think agencies should have to wait for an airline to tell them whether they’d earned an incentive. They generated the bookings, so they should have the data and intelligence to manage those deals themselves. Farecast 2.0 takes that idea much further. We’re not simply reporting what has been booked; we’re helping TMCs understand where a deal is heading, whether the current pace is enough to meet the target, and what action can still be taken to influence the outcome.”
Farecast 2.0 gives users a view of actual achievement, booked-ahead and committed performance, current booking velocity, required pace and projected final performance. Automatically, deals will be intelligently categorised as “Ahead”, “On Track”, “At Risk” or “Achieved”, with real-time status alerts being sent to managers and contributors, helping them to identify where attention is most needed.
Scenario modelling enables users to adjust assumptions about future booking volumes and pace or velocity and immediately see how those changes may affect projected outcomes. This allows commercial teams to assess the potential impact of different actions before deciding how to respond.
Alongside incentive tracking, Farecast provides an interactive analytics environment using the customer’s own booking and ticket data, giving commercial teams insight into performance and trends to make better-informed decisions about their airline relationships. This data can also provide an independent evidence base for supplier negotiations and help customers validate airline-provided figures.
Farecast 2.0 supports a range of airline incentive structures, including market-share agreements, flown revenue, ticket and coupon targets, fare-and-tax targets, and multi-tier incentives and milestone structures.
The platform updates as soon as booking and ticket data reaches the Travelogix Data Services platform, supporting real-time feeds as well as frequent automated ingestion from traditional GDS interface files.
The re-engineering of Farecast also gives Travelogix greater control over the platform’s data flow through its own Data Services team. This covers data collection, transformation, loading, extraction and troubleshooting, providing greater flexibility as customer requirements and airline deal structures evolve.
Farecast 2.0 is designed as a global platform for TMCs, agency groups and consortia, with multi-currency handling, regional and locale configurations, and support for booking and ticket data from multiple GDS, NDC and other booking sources.
The commercial relaunch takes place in October 2026, with the first new customer implementations targeted for Q1 2027.
